Established in the year 1986, Agro Tech Foods Ltd (ATFL) has been serving the processed food industry for over 25 years now. The company is engaged in the business of marketing food and food ingredients to its consumers and other institutional customers.  

Affiliated to ConAgra Foods, Inc of the US, ATFL is one of the most respected food companies in India. The company has been engaged in the business of marketing food and food ingredients to consumers and institutional customers.
The company is mainly engaged in producing agricultural products. This is divided into three main segments: Sourcing and Institutional Business, Branded Food and Others. In the Sourcing and Business segment, the company focuses on agricultural raw material procurement, seed buying and processing operations, food service and poultry feed ingredients, among others.
The Branded Food segment includes products that are sold under brands like Sundrop, Crystal, Rtah, Sudham and Healthy World.
The Others segment includes seed operations.
The company has its offices spread across Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Secunderabad.

Product Portfolio
The wide range of products offered by the company includes:
Sundrop Superlite- It was the first innovative product launched by the company for Indian consumers. Sundrop Superlite was the first refined sunflower oil in the Indian market in 1988.
Sundrop Heart- It is the only blended oil till date which has a proven claim of reducing cholesterol.
ACT II Instant Popcorn- Another famed product of the company, ACT II is a very innovative offering that provided the consumer with the opportunity to make his/her own hot and fresh popcorn in just 3 minutes.
The other product ranges of the company include Snack Pack, which is the only shelf-stable pudding, healthy, nourishing and wholesome. Besides, Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix is the only indulgent chocolate treat available in the Indian market. The company is also known for its healthy dried green peas, which is the first and only dehydrated, long-shelf green peas available in the market.
ATFL has a rich history of innovation and is constantly engaged in creating new opportunities that will enable them to create a difference. ATFL has been able to reach 3500 towns across India with over 265,000 retail stores to sale the products. The company has direct selling agreements with Reliance Retail, Food Bazaar, Aditya Birla (More and Trinethra), Heritage, Food World, Spencer’s, Bharti-Walmart, Tesco, Hypercity and D-Mart, among others.
David Alan Palfenier is the chairperson of the company.
The total income of the company in FY11 was Rs 7256.34 million.
Net profit in 2010-11 stood at Rs 317.76 million.
