Jaipur gets organic food store

The store would provide a wide range of food products including cereals, pulses, spices, condiments, masala mixes, oils, Ready-To-Eat snacks, variety of cookies and English herbs

In view of the growing awareness and demand for organic food among consumers, Jaipur based Morarka Organic Foods Ltd has recently launched the city's first 'Down to Earth' organic food store. The biggest beneficiaries – consumers in Jaipur – would have access to a complete range of 'Down to Earth' organic food products at the store.

 
Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Mukesh Gupta, executive director of Morarka Organic Foods said that the store would provide a wide range of food products including cereals, pulses, spices, condiments, masala mixes, oils, Ready-To-Eat snacks, variety of cookies and English herbs. He added that the organic products of Morarka are amounting to nearly 90% of the Indian kitchen grocery.
 
According to food expert Sucheta Rathi, “The masalas of Rajasthan are immensely popular among consumers across the country as well as in abroad. With Morarka coming up with organic variety of these masalas and also other items, demand for the same is likely to surge further.”
 
Certifications
 
All organic products offered by Down to Earth undergo the rigorous quality standard checks and are certified by the most stringent certification agencies in the world, informed Mr Gupta. Down To Earth is certified by as per NOP (USDA), NPOP (Government of India) and EU Standards for Organic Certification.
 
Besides the Down to Earth organic food store, the products can be also availed at major supermarkets, modern trade outlets and standalone organic stores across the country. In a very short span of time, Down To Earth has become a renowned brand name in the organic food space in India. Today when almost everyone is suffering from some health problem or the other, availability of organic food products at the nearby store augurs well for Indian consumers and is likely to become hugely popular in the days to come.
